I joined Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative in 2010.

Although I had a diverse background and a lot of education, a career in financial planning was not something on my radar.

This opportunity instead came as a pleasant surprise;I was initially motivated by a desire to help other people and to be challenged intellectually.

My first year I was named New Financial Representative of the Year.  I found that I had a natural knack for meeting other people, engaging them, learning about their passions and providing counsel on financial and planning matters.  This initial introduction to new people is still my favorite part of my job.

Initially, the focus of my practice was in risk management products - selling the insurance products for which Northwestern Mutual has built their sterling reputation.

However, soon I saw an opportunity to engage in more comprehensive planning that included both insurance and investments.  Shortly thereafter, I became a Financial Advisor.

Myself and my team currently service over 300 clients from all walks of life, with all different income levels and across 28 states.

I've also had the great pleasure of working alongside some great teammates who've grown and evolved through their experience working in my practice.

With them, every client gets the value of a plan and counsel that is in their best interest.
