Bob Mohr had a wildly diverse background before joining Northwestern Mutual in 2010.
He grew up in the Green Bay area but lived in six different states as an adult. Eventually, he returned to Wisconsin and made the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee his home for the last 16 years
Bob and his partner Laura enjoy taking advantage of all of the culture and activities that Milwaukee offers. They are die hard Milwaukee Brewers fans and can frequently be spotted at various restaurants, bar, festivals and volunteer events throughout the city. They are members of the Milwaukee Art Museum, Zoo, Domes, The Rep and WMSE.
Bob Mohr is an enthusiastic bicyclist, and has participated in the United Performing Arts Fund Ride for the Arts, and frequently enjoys riding both the Oak Leaf Trail and Hank Aaron trails in and around Milwaukee
In addition, Bob is an active volunteer and has previously worked with the Milwaukee County Parks People, WMSE, the Milwaukee Public Museum and Camp Hope, an organization that assists in the needs of griveing children.
Bob makes annual donations to the ACLU, National Resources Defense Council, ProPublica, and NPR.
He enjoys reading and arguing about politics, listening to a wide swath of old funk, r&b, jazz and blues music and creative writing in his free time. He also went to film school and is currently working on a stand-up comedy routine. He also participates in improv with Comedy Sportz during the evenings.
